Not applicable to a non-existent castle. Marken village experiences high visitor numbers, especially in summer and during peak hours.
The non-existent "National Marken Castle" does not attract visitors. Marken village, however, is a popular tourist destination and can get quite busy, especially during the peak summer months (July and August) and on weekends. Group tours frequently visit, leading to crowded streets and harbors, particularly in the afternoons. To avoid the busiest times, visitors are advised to arrive early in the morning, before 11:00 AM, or later in the afternoon, after 3:00 PM. Weekdays outside of summer generally offer a calmer experience.
